Bret Michael: Returns with full energy even in injury

Despite suffering several medical maladies over the past two months, the "Celebrity Apprentice" champion Bret Michaelis moving forward with his tour, album and a VH1 reality series that promises to show the rocker in a new light.

"I think this is good for my soul," Michaels said " in a phone interview Thursday from his latest concert stop in Minneapolis. "Honestly, I'm taking every precaution. I'm not doing anything stupid. I'm going on stage and telling the fans that I'm going to give 100 percent of everything I've got, but if it's only 75 or 80 percent, I think they will understand."

Michael underwent an emergency appendectomy in April and was expected to make a full recovery. Days later, he was rushed to the hospital after complaining of headache and was found to have had a brain hemorrhage. While recovering from the hemorrhage in May, he suffered a warning stroke and was diagnosed with a hole in the heart.

"I don't want my legacy to be that I had a brain hemorrhage," said bret. "I want it to be that I rocked, I treated people with respect and I made a lot of good friends along the way. I think that came back to me when I got sick. I truly believe if you're a good person, and you spread love, then that love will come back to you."

After winning the third season of Donald Trump's NBC reality competition "The Celebrity Apprentice" in May, Michaels surprised "American Idol" viewers when he joined finalist Casey James on "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" on the Fox singing contest's ninth season finale. A week later, he resumed his "Custom Built" tour in Biloxi.

Michaels said his doctors weren't crazy that he returned to the scene so early, but he's following their directions on the road to recovery, including taking it easy on and off stage, exercising to increase mobility, laying off the liquor and taking blood thinners to prepare for a fall surgery to repair the hole in his heart.

"At the moment, I can't throw-down like I would like to," said Michaels.

Production on Michaels' new VH1 documenty-reality show, "Life As I Know It," was halted when he was hospitalized. Unlike his tawdry VH1 dating series "Rock of Love," this one will focus on Michaels' relationship with his daughters, Raine and Jorja, and their mother, Kristi Lynn Gibson, Michaels' on-again-off-again girlfriend.

The pilot episode featuring candid footage of Bret Michaels before his health scares aired Monday, and new installments in production now are scheduled for the fall. VH1 executive vice president Jeff Olde promised "Life As I Know It" wouldn't turn into a medical show, but viewers should expect to see a different side of brets.

"I've never heard him sound better and happier," said Olde. "I think he's genuinely happy to be alive and happy for all the things he has in his life, but he's really always been that way. Bret is not a different person now than before his health issues. I think maybe his priorities have shifted, but they were already shifting."

Kate Middleton & Prince Williams are marrying soon

Prince Williams' fiance, Kate Middleton, according to some Brit magazines will have the wedding of the century. William is looking to spend somewhere near $40 Million on the 'extravaganza' making Kate Middleton his wife. According to one magazine:

“William has always said he will be ready for marriage after his 28th birthday — that’s next month,” royal expert Nicholas Davies, author of William: King for the 21st Century, tells Star. “The timing is perfect for a wedding this year.”

Insiders estimate that as many as 3 billion awestruck viewers could tune in and the audience will not be disappointed by the ceremony with the couture gowns, lavish bouquets and priceless jewelry, including the 18-karat sapphire and diamond engagement ring William inherited from his late mother, Diana, which William is planing to give to his bride to be.

And while Kate Middleton will certainly look to Diana and Prince Charles’ 1981 wedding when planning her own, she plans to put her own spin on the ceremony as a modern British bride.
“William will feel nothing but pride to see his beautiful bride,” says Davies.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley : Next Transformer girl ??

In the last month it was announced that Megan Fox would not be returning for the third "Transformers" movie. Naturally, her departure raised the question of who would replace her as Shia LaBeouf's romantic interest in the film.

On Wednesday, after a week of speculation, it was officially revealed on director that British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been cast in the film. The announcement (which misspells her last name) states, "she's the new female lead in Transformers 3."

Huntington-Whiteley previously worked with Michael Bay in a commercial he directed for Victoria's Secret, but she has no other acting credits to her name. She has appeared on the past four installments of the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show," and was a guest on "Britain's Next Top Model." She's also reportedly dating "Transporter" star Jason Statham.
Filming has already begun on "Transformer 3" in Los Angeles, according to the La Times and will continue across the globe over the next 4 1/2 months. The movie is scheduled to open on July 1, 2011.

Mariah Carey : Waiting to be Mom?

Mariah Carey,Singer, is pregnant, according to RadarOnline.com. The pop diva, 40, Mariah CA who's getting plumper by the hour, dropped out of Tyler Perry's latest movie because of her condition.
Carey has recently gone to great lengths to hide her baby bump from photographers, the Web site reported. Reps for Carey and hip-hop hubby Nick Cannon didn't respond to requests for comment.
At the Film Independent Spirit Awards in March, Mariah Carey- who could barely walk in her sky-high heels - told Page Six she had "something special" on the way.
The couple got hitched in 2008.

Victoria Principal: Donate cash to aid oil spill ciean up

Victoria Principal has stepped up with a $200,000 donation to help clean things up for oil .Oceana and the Natural Resources Defense Council say the actress made the donation to encourage the two nonprofits to work together to address the damage along the Gulf Coast and support a shift toward renewable energy.


The former "Dallas" star and "Wonder Woman "is among a handful of celebrities who have become involved with the cleanup efforts. Ted Danson, who serves on Oceana's board of directors, is an outspoken critic of offshore drilling. Director James Cameron met with officials to share his expertise on underwater filming and remote vehicle technologies. And Kevin Costner has invested more than $24 million to develop devices now under consideration to help clean up the spill.

Elizabeth Taylor:love letter lecked

The Cleopatra legend,Elizabeth Taylor has revealed the intense notes her late former husband sent to her during their tumultuous union, which saw them marry and divorce twice.

Taylor read her collection of letters to the authors of Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century - a book looking back on their love affair.

And in one note, Burton explains how he can't live without the great beauty, writing, "If you leave me I shall have to kill myself. There is no life without you."

In another, he explains, "You must know, of course, how much I love you. You must know, of course, how badly I treat you. But the fundamental and most vicious, swinish, murderous, and unchangeable fact is that we totally misunderstand each other.

"We operate on alien wavelengths. You are as distant as Venus - planet, I mean - and I am tone-deaf to the music of the spheres. I love you and I always will. Come back to me as soon as you can."

Extracts from the tome have been published in June's (10) Vanity Fair, and show that the fiery romance also had a playful side - with Burton calling Taylor by a number of silly nicknames, including 'My Lumps', 'Dearest Scrupelshrumpilstilskin', and 'Twit Twaddle'.
The actress also admits she keeps her final letter from Burton in her bedside drawer, after receiving the poignant post when she returned home from his memorial service in 1984.

Marilyn Monroe: Picture leaked with USA precident JFK

This was one of the most famous performances in American history - Marilyn Monroe's version of "Happy Birthday" to President John F. Kennedy at a democratic fundraiser on May 19, 1962.

The only known photo of the two together is revealed.
But it was a moment after Monroe sang at Madison Square Garden in honor of the president's 45th birthday that is attracting attention.

A black and white image, which is now up for sale, is the only known photograph of Kennedy and Monroe together, perhaps because of the rumors of an affair that have swirled for 50 years.

The only known photograph of President John F. Kennedy with Marilyn Monroe is to be released today.

"There is no other known photo of Bobby (Kennedy) with Marilyn or JFK with Marilyn and it's not because they were never photographed together," filmmaker Keya Morgan, who owns the only original prints of it, told CNN.

"In fact, they were photographed together many times, but the Secret Service and the FBI confiscated every single photograph."
The photo was taken by White House photographer Cecil Stoughton, who said the Secret Service missed one photo.
"The Secret Service came in when he was developing the negatives and basically confiscated all the ones of Jack, Bobby with Marilyn," Morgan said.

"The only one that survived is the one that was in the dryer.
